Finding the right lenses and frames is a very personal choice based largely on your fashion preferences. We are happy to present to you an extensive variety of options that can be tailored to suit both your medical needs and your style.

We are here to guide you through all the choices available to highlight your features, play with color, and augment your vision for different parts of your lifestyle.

Eyeglasses

Design, material, and treatments are the three components that make up a pair of prescription lenses. It is essential to select the right combination of these elements for your special visual needs and always to consult your eye care professional.

Our knowledgeable staff will consider long-term wearing comfort, style, characteristics, and function when suggesting a new pair of eyeglasses. Eyeglasses should be as unique as you are and give you that memorable look.

Eyeglass Lenses
Picking the right eyeglass lens is typically based on its function. From single vision lenses to progressive lenses, we will help you find the best solutions for your needs. No matter what your particular situation is, as your eye care provider we can help you determine what types of lenses will work best for you regarding comfort, function, and design.

Frame Styles
When selecting a frame, the shape and size of the frame should complement the color of your eyes, enhance your skin tone and highlight the best features of your face shape.
Many people need more than one pair of glasses, like one for everyday use and another for outdoor activities. Having different style frames for various activities and moods makes wearing glasses more fun.

Sunglasses
With the wide variety of lens options available, you can customize your sunglasses to meet your visual, protection, performance and comfort needs. Sunglasses shield your eyes from harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation, which exists even on cloudy days. Quality sun wear provides 100 percent UV protection and can drastically reduce the chance of vision issues caused by sunlight such as cataracts and retinal damage.

Glare is an issue many suffer with making it difficult to see objects clearly by washing out colors and details, but polarized lenses can combat it. Looking at things that surround you with polarized lenses, you’ll notice the colors are deeper, more vibrant and bolder, and details are more precise and more distinct. Polarized lenses also help reduce squinting, which, in turn, minimizes eye fatigue, tension, and eyestrain.

Anti-Reflective Lenses
Wearers of prescription glasses and sunglasses commonly face annoying glare and reflections due to light bouncing off their lenses. This glare makes it more challenging to see, especially at night. Anti-reflective lenses decrease these reflections allowing more light to pass through to your eyes.

All lens surfaces naturally reflect light, and this reflection can prevent 7-14% of the light needed for optimal vision. Wearing non-AR lenses is the same as reading a book in a poorly lit room.  AR lenses let more light reach your eyes by minimizing the reflections, it’s like flipping a light switch in the room, making it easier to see.

Lenses and frames are an essential and personal choice. We have the expertise to guide you through the eyewear selection process so that your glasses are comfortable and work to complement your facial features. For help, call to schedule an appointment with one of our eye care providers.
